Following r/wallstreetbets lead from this weekend I thought it'd be real cool to donate some of my personal Bananos to adopting great apes in Banano's name. This is just a personal adoption so far but I hope to see more of these in the future. For reference, it cost me roughly 10k Bananos (10630.46 to be exact) to make a onetime adoption through The Orangutan Project
This is just an exploratory personal adoption and I'm currently not accepting donations to adopt on others behalf but it would be great to see more community efforts popping up to support our fellow monke. The Banano team is in early talks about how to make this a reality. But in the meantime I just wanted to show how easily this can be done, and how we can give back as Banano continues to grow and develop.

as an aside, like with crypto dyor before adopting as there was also a post on r/wallstreetbets about how some of these animal adoption sites display some sketchy behavior. I think it's important to bring attention to that as well. Be safe.
