In an effort to help the community understand the various roles, we have broken down each role. There are some spoilers, rumors and half-truths here, but it is mostly accurate. Also included is what each role to my knowledge can do. I have also included some quotes from other members in order to help illuminate the roles.
Dictators: granted only to ChocolateFudCake and Renesq. Have more power than anyone. Immune to arrest and muzzle. Grants green color to name.
Jungle Junta: a member of the BANANO Dev Team - a developer of a major facet of the coin, such as community development, wallet and vault development, bot programming, and graphic design. Grants yellow color to name.
Propa Ghandi: a member of the BANANO community who shares a multitude of articles, hosts events and generally promotes BANANO.
Community Manager: Moderates the community as a whole (including the BRCPD). Given control over administration of community. Grants orange color to name.
BRCPD (BANANO Republic Community and Police Department): Comprised of Primates and BANANO Police. This role which exists for convenience/efficiency purposes while tagging/organizing groups in the server, and coordinating between Police and Primates.
Primate: An individual who helps new members integrate into the community and/or in in orchestrating creative ways to distribute $BAN regularly. Primates responsibilities are comprised of: Event Coordinating, Tools & Innovating, and/or Content Creating. Grants purple color to name.
BANANO POLICE: a moderator for the Discord community. This role has the ability to grant Citizens role, as well as arrest, muzzle, and kick/ban users. Also grants blue color to name.
Zookeeper: a moderator for smaller scale communities across our social medias, including Discord, Telegram, and Reddit.
Citizens: a community member with standard level access to all methods of BANANO distribution. Grants white color to name. Read more.
Jungle Fanta: a recognition role for community member who contribute towards the growth of the community beyond being being a user. Read more.
BANANO JAIL: Monkeys who misbehave may find themselves jailed for a period of time. This role prohibits the user from seeing any channels in the BANANO server besides the jail.
muzzled: Particularly egregious monkeys may find themselves muzzled for a period of time. This role prohibits the user from seeing any channels in the BANANO server. Grants red color to name, but you are unable to post in the discord.
Troll: granted to exceptional trolls, but removes citizenship. Grants grey color to name.
Punishment White: changes the user's name to the color white. This role is used for when users spam the channel with images or gifs, as such this removes the user's ability to post images.
TRICKED: You have been tricked. Nothing to see here, move along.
nodes: Runs a BANANO node.
wallet-translator: Supports community projects´ internationalization (i18n) efforts; such as providing wallet translations for Kalium and Vault.
MEME POLICE: a Citizen who has been trusted to moderate the memes channel through the removal of poor quality memes, and the rewarding of good quality memes (with $BAN).
Banano DJ: a Citizen who has trusted access to use and override certain commands in the radio channels, such as move the position of a song in the queue, use the skip song function, use volume commands, and more.
karaoke: a Citizen known for performing musically for the BANANO community.
Sacred Pig: for the one and only Sacred Pig, Flightless_Pig. Grants pink color to name.
Miss Banano: a community-elected representative who contributes significantly to the overall growth of the coin, community, and embodies the BANANO spirit and culture as a whole. This is a result of an election that runs yearly during November/December. Grants pink color to name.
Mr Banano: a community-elected representative who contributes significantly to the overall growth of the coin, community, and embodies the BANANO spirit and culture as a whole. This is a result of an election that runs yearly during November/December. Grants light blue color to name
19: “You can quote me that the 19 role is a mystery but its very positive” - Bantano.
23: Purian's answer to Bantano's 19 role. The method of acquisition is a mystery.
hng: It is a tag for hng people.
Volcanist: Participated in the Volcano drawing event. Probably sacrificed a great amount of time to gain this role. Be wary, these users may dazzle you with their ability to draw.
Relic: A badge of honor for our most...seasoned...users. This is granted to users who have been on the server for three years or more. Learn from their wisdom and you will go far.
Rekt: Honorable gift bestowed by ChocolateFudCake himself. Unknown meaning.
Cuck: Honorable gift bestowed by ChocolateFudCake himself. Unknown meaning.
Def Ban Records: for people that has written/produced/recorded BANANO songs.
riot: Rumor has it that this role is awarded to the Instigator of the great BANANO Riot of '08.
pure: Granted to the most innocent of users among us.
Bots: The all seeing eyes of Discord. Always there, always watching. They never rest and will likely eventually gain sentience.
Beatrice: The Queen among bots. Provides everything from price, to informing users of citizenship and even makes a mean cup of coffee.
(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ✧･ﾟ*✧spoo.py✧*･ﾟ✧ヽ(◕ヮ◕)ﾉ: The spoopiest of bots. Rumor has it BRCPD uses this for purposes unknown.
YAG: The bot that collects your poetry and stores it for it to admire at a later time. Another rumor is that BRCPD uses this bot for other (possibly nefarious) reasons.
TweetShift: A little birdie told me that the purpose of this bot is to yell into the Void using 280 characters or less.
Sesh: The flat circle bot. This helps us keep track of when events are and what time they are based on your individual time zone.
Nitro Booster: A user who boosts the server through payment to discord. Grants grayish color, however Citizen usually masks this with the white color.
